at some point during every player's life, while sleeping they might have woken up on a purple or golden planet. these are the kingdoms of Prospit and Derse, inhabited by a species known as "carapacians" and which are constantly at war with each other.
being thrown in a completely different reality out of nowhere can be jarring for most people, and as such you might have a lot of questions. first and foremost, what happened to your planet? short answer, its gone. kaput. fugget about it. by now the meteors that you entered the game to escape are ravaging the planet and the few survivors will be your coplayers and a few other people. dont you worry though, it will not stay like this forever.
while you can never go back to back to your old planet, it doesnt mean it will be a desolate rock floating in space with relics of civilizations past. eventually there will be new inhabitants, namely the exiles. as the name suggests, they were exiled (or the more correct term, escaped) from their home, that was destroyed due to something explained in "Skaia and the Battlefield". dont go there yet though, ive got a lot more to explain before.
these exiles will live on your now destroyed planet and eventually rebuild civilization as they see fit. one of these exiles will get in contact with each player and guide them around from a station built where the player's server's inhabitation used to be.
